  • Overview

    Performs routine preventative maintenance and repairs on all manufacturing equipment to include but not limited to plastic injection mold machines, material dryers, temperature control units, OBI’s, hydraulic stamping systems and custom assembly equipment.


    May include, but are not limited to the following:


    • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and plumbing systems
    • Ability to service and repair PLC, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic anf hydraulic control systems
    • Basic skills to setup and operate all conventional machining equipment to include but not limited to lathes, milling machines and surface grinder
    • Basic ability to weld, cut, machine and fabricate mechanical parts as directed by management
    • Ability to develop a bill of materials required for a given task
    • Ability to work with or without drawings
    • Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics
    • Ability to read fabrication and structural drawings
    • Ability to communicate workload and priorities to following shifts
    • Complete work orders for tracking
    • Ability to work with minimum supervision
    • Attend all required meetings and training when scheduled
    • Maintain a safe and clean work area
    • Must be knowledgeable in required personal protective equipment
    • Must be a team player
    • Other duties as assigned



    Requires 2 years technical qualification in mechanical or electrical field and at least 5 years of practical experience supporting manufacturing activities.


    Must be able to work overtime and to work overtime at short notice. Must be able to work well with other associates and follow all company rules, regulations and company policies.

The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally may maneuver up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job may include but not limited to close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Must be able to stand continuously for the duration of scheduled shift.
