    Manage the scheduling, purchasing and customer service processes in a collaborative style internally and externally.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provide the highest level of customer service
    • Receives/processes customer orders and performs contract review and customer follow-up utilizing internal ERP system
    • Responsible for the coordination of the shipping activities
    • Track and Maintain 100% OTD with All customer orders
    • Support delivery issue investigation and implement countermeasures
    • Demonstrate best-in-class techniques to anticipate future customer scheduling requirements and responding to requests rapidly
    • Schedule all production and sub assembly lines to ensure internal and external customer OTD
    • Manage customer relationships in person or remotely on an as needed basis
    • Manage and track internal inventory with internal customers
    • Responsible for FG, WIP, Packaging inventory
    • Must present a professional appearance as appointments may require face to face meetings
    • Actively participate in the 5S and Lean Manufacturing to drive continual improvements and eliminate waste
    • Maintain FIFO inventory practices
    • Lead Service repack, partial pack, small lot pack, and mixed lot pack members.
    • Review and identify EDI issues and coordinate countermeasures keeping good customer communication

    Qualifications

    Required Competencies, Skills and Experience

    • Prior working knowledge with MRP and ERP systems
    • Hands-on manufacturing experience
    • Direct experience working with customers
    • Previous experience working with ISO 9001 standards
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Ability to train others
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
    • Listening skills
    • Critical thinking
    • Analytical skills
    • Microsoft Office skills, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills

    Preferred Skills

    • PLEX
    • Previous automotive experience

    Education and Job Experience Requirements

    • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or other equivalent experience
    • At least 2 years’ experience in plastic injection or other manufacturing processes
