  • Overview

    The Manufacturing Coordinator is responsible for operations, quality, safety, training and daily management of team members. 

    Responsibilities

    Manufacturing Operation

    • Word in conjunction with all Coordinators to carry out all production business plans.
    • Maintain production stability and achieve daily production targets and running ratios.
    • Coordinate with Production Control group to achieve daily production plans and strategies on each line.
    • Identify and resolve line constraints (bottlenecks) to ensure smooth consistent line flow.
    • Coordinate line to line rotation to ensure proper manpower per line.

     

    Manufacturing Quality

    • Ensure all Quality policies and procedures are maintained at line-side and are coordinated with Quality Assurance group.
    • Reduce and control abnormal product and identify weakness in procedure.
    • Perform line-side audits to ensure 100% compliance.
    • Assist in follow up of non-conformance issues and communicate results with team.

     

    Manufacturing Safety

    • Perform line-side Safety audit inspections and communicate results with appropriate action plans if necessary.
    • Support and follow up on safety concerns and issues.

     

    Training

    • Develop and maintain general associate training plan.
    • Assist and participate in Operational Standards training/coaching as necessary.

     

    Managerial

    • Verify daily attendance of general associates.
    • Coordinate all general associate vacation schedules for each line.
    • Reinforce plant policies and procedures as required.
    • Ensure all engineering and production communications are issued to general associates.
    • Communicate daily concern topics, upcoming events.
    • Monitor Associate moral to ensure optimum working environment is maintained.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in Mechanical or industrial Engineering with 3 years experience or 5 years equivalent experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
    • Five years minimum technical experience.
    • ISO9000 Quality systems training.
    • Self-starter with the ability to make sound decisions.
    • Proficiency in all Microsoft office applications specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.
    • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
    • String organizational skills.
