  • Overview

    Maintain inventory accuracy with in ERP system. Complete daily cycle counting and inventory adjustments.


    • Perform daily cycle counts as directed, root cause reason for adjustments and make adjustments, as needed
    • Problem solve reasons for specific inventory adjustments on the production floor
    • Count and/or weigh raw materials to determine quantities on hand. Coordinate BOM verifications to verify BOM accuracy to reduce raw material cycle count variances.
    • Appropriately tag any damaged, suspect or unidentified containers to Quality Containment for processing and disposition
    • Relocate products stored in incorrect areas based on warehouse layout and report findings to Supervisor
    • Other duties as assigned


    Decision Making Authority

    • Has the authority to adjust inventory amounts in ERP system
    • Authority to direct engineering group to perform actualized costings for BOM verification


    Required Competencies, Skills and Experience

    • Has problem solving experience
    • Has experience working in an ERP system
    • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
    • Experience doing daily cycle counting – both by location and part
    • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
    • Operating forklift experience


    Preferred Skills

    • 3+ years cycle count experience
    • 3+ years operating fork lift experience


    Education and Job Experience Requirements

    • High school diploma/GED equivalent,


    Work Environment and Physical & Mental Demands

    • The ability to work in non-climate controlled plant areas and climate controlled office areas
    • Ability to be exposed to noisy plant areas and forklift traffic and occasionally work from outside and work from heights
    • Ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure
    • Ability to work flexible schedules and work overtime as needed and on short notice
    • Ability to walk on concrete floors
    • Possess near-vision and manual and finger dexterity; ability to use inductive and deductive reasoning
    • Ability to make decisions and take appropriate actions when it comes to stopping processes, if unsafe conditions exist or if quality expectations are not met.
