  • Overview

    Manufacturing operations; including safety, quality, manpower and administration.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain production stability and achieve daily production targets and running ratios
    • Identify and resolve line constraints (bottlenecks) to ensure smooth consistent line flow
    • Coordinate line to line rotation to ensure proper manpower per line
    • Ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and maintained at line side
    • Reduce and control abnormal product and identify weakness in procedure
    • Assist in follow up of non-conformance issues and communicate results with team
    • Identify, support and follow up on safety concerns and issues
    • Develop and maintain general associate training plan and participate in operational standards training/coaching as necessary
    • Communicate daily concern topics, upcoming events, general information, policy issues, etc.
    • Monitor associate morale to ensure optimum working environment is maintained
    • Participate in continuous improvement activities
    • Ensure all applicable company and quality policies and directives are communicated, understood and enforced

    Qualifications

    Required skills and experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred) with 3 years experience or 5 years equivalent experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
    • Proficiency in all Microsoft office applications; specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project

     

    Preferred skills and experience:

    • ISO9000 Quality systems training
    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Self-starter with the ability to make sound decisions
