  • Overview

    Perform painting process support to ensure product conformance to standard with minimum production time lost.

    Responsibilities

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty in a satisfactory manner.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    May include, but are not limited to the following:

     

    • Maintain close communications with applicable associates, supervisors, process engineers to timely meet quality and delivery expectations.
    • Records appropriate data collections as required.
    • Inform fellow technicians of any defects found in a timely manner
    • Perform coating process function as per Coating Process Procedure and Guideline Handbook
    • Properly dispose of hazardous waste per environmental guidelines
    • Perform coating measurements as per Coating Process Procedure and Guideline Handbook
    • Maintain coating process and set up in tolerance as per Coatings Handbook
    • Assist and monitor cell cleaning process as per procedure
    • Ensure timely coating equipment preventative maintenance
    • Ensure full compliance to shift change hand shake procedure
    • Perform timely change over per procedures found in Handbook
    • Attend all required meetings and training when scheduled
    • Maintain a safe and clean work area
    • Must be knowledgeable in required personal protective equipment
    • Annually trained to perform specific functions of Hazardous Waste management including;  Handling, storage, labeling, spill response and as applicable, Hazardous Waste Manifest management
    • Must be a team player
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

     

     

     

    Other Qualifications

    Must be able to work overtime and to work overtime at short notice. Must be able to work well with other associates and follow all company rules, regulations and company policies.

Must be able to stand continuously for the duration of scheduled shift.
